Description

This adapter has an SMA Male connector on one end with a center pin. The other end has a RP-SMA Female connector also with a center pin.

The adapter can be used to convert the Wi-Fi leads on one end of the Poynting extension cables so that they mate correctly with a PUMA Wi-Fi antenna.

These adapters can also be used to convert the two Wi-Fi cables on a Poynting extension cable to 2 extra LTE cables, for example to convert the Poynting Extension Cables for 5 in 1 Antennas suitable for extending a 4x4 LTE MIMO antenna such as the Peplink Mobility 40G 4x4 MIMO LTE/GPS Antenna.

This package includes two adapters.

Before attaching these adapters be sure you are mating them to the correct adapter. For example, using a Poynting extension cable between a router and a Peplink antenna, you will use these to adapt the WiFi cable path on the antenna end. When in doubt, look at the end before connecting them. The center pin must mate with a hole on the other end.

NOTE: These adapters are not required if you are using a Poynting extension cable with a Poynting antenna.
